    DTUK Piggy Back

    Hi All,

I've got a 2015 S4 which has a revised supercharger withSENT sensors and the revised ECU (Australian version). Since i bought in February last year, i have been in contact with the local resellers of APR, GIAC and REVO and none of them have a map for this car.

One APR dealer even took my car, sent off the ECU to the USA and after impatiently waiting for 2 months, they gave me the car back with no tune and no hope of a suitable map ever being released... a very poor effort after having my car for two months with nothing in return!

Anyway... that aside, I'm considering a DTUK piggy back. The product looks good, their customer service seems great, it looks to be of very good quality and whilst it may not be as good as an ECU tune, the dyno charts they sent me to backup their claims, shows an S5 with the same engine producing 310KW and 499.5nm of torque!.. that's pretty decent!

So my question is, has anyone here had any experience with these DTUK piggy backs?, any current S4 users of the DTUK piggy back that can provide me some feedback?..

I'm keen to hear if it has made any noticeable difference in power.

    Let me know

    Thanks
    Rob

You're in the wrong forum for this. Audi never used the CREC engine in the S4 (or S5) for the US market. It is only used in the A6 and A7 afaik. There is a post in that forum from a member who has tested the DTUK box.

FYI I am in touch with REVO and they plan to start work on the CREC/SIMOS16 in a few months time.

Trust me... i have a CREC engine on my 2015 S4. what's been sent to the Australian market is obviously different to what people in the USA get. I believe there are CREC engines in the UK in some S4s as well.

Err yes - that's what I wrote. I was trying to explain to you that since there are no S4s in the US with the CREC engine, posting in the S4 forum of a site which is heavily US-centric is unlikely to get much response. However this post may be of interest to you.

You could get a Chipwerkes Pro unit buddy. If it will work with your engine I guess.
