ECS aggressive spacers with H&R sport springs - anyone running?

    Hey guys,

First, yes, I searched. Seems the only thread on the ECS aggressive spacers is here:

    http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...ecs+aggressive

The consensus is that the aggressive spacers have an added lip, which addresses the issue the non-aggressive spacers have with vibration. I am about to order from ECS, aside from getting the carbon trunk lip, I wanted to get spacers/springs at the same time. I have the adaptive suspension, so instead of running a full coilover like I did on my RS4, I am looking at something like this:

    https://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-B8_S4...ings/ES251841/

    And the spacers:

Is anybody running this or a similar setup and can confirm there is little / no rubbing when lowered with the aggressive spacers? Pictures would be greatly appreciated, and ECS feel free to chime in as well. I would like to get these ordered today so I can get my car up to Eurotech Motorsports next week.
Here is my current 4x4 setup:

    Hello,

I would say that 10mm spacer front will fit without rubbing (i am curently running 12mm ones)
For the rear (12.5 mm), it is more complex and it depends on 1) the camber you are running(you could ask when alignement a least -1.5 °) 2) effective width of your tires (PSS are wider than contis for example and then have more chance to rub) 3) you sub frame aligment. Often, we can see (including me), that a side is rubbing and not the other.

I love ECS product, but for my car the H&R OE Springs coupled with the ECS Flush Kit on peelers rubber tremendously in the back. I had it aligned 2 times to change the camber. It was bad. I ended up buying new wheels eventually along with a different set of ECS spacers. Others have claimed no rub.. So who knows. Just be prepared for a possible rub.

Thanks, this is what I figured. My RS4 on #coilovers rubbed only on dips, with 265/35/19 all around.

What wheel / tire setup did you have?

Thanks! I believe I have the OE width tires, 245/35/19 but I will have to double check. Lovely S4 avant! Super jealous!!

H&R Sport springs are too low, you'd want H&R OE springs at a minimum to try and prevent rub. I also have adaptive on my car with the 10/12.5mm aggressive kit. I think the best bet for us folks is honestly the KW HAS kit.

Agreed on AceJams point, iv met other S4 owners running who have had rubbing issues on H&R SS so running the ECS aggressive flush kit could only accentuate that even further. I'm running H&R OE's with the aggressive kit and have no issues with rubbing whatsoever

Its honestly better to lower your vehicle first, let it settle, get aligned, then measure how much space you have to work with and determine how much your wheels need spaced. Trying to do it all at once usually causes more headache than good.
