    Rear Bumper Bracket Attachment

    The bottom is attached with a T25 screw, but how is the top attached. I can't tell and it is loose on the passenger side.

    It's riveted to the metal bumper. Replacing that piece would involve a new rivet or use a screw to hold it in.

    I have the exact same issue and part waiting in my garage. Unfortunately the whole bumper and reinforcing needs to come off to service it. My plan is to to use a screw.

    It is held in by the rivet but the bracket moves up and down freely.
    So the rivet should ideally be tight and hold the bracket in place?
