My first kill- AUDI RS4 vs V6T S5

Hey guys I've been waiting so patiently to finally lock it up with someone on the highway in mexico. I wish i had a video but i was driving home from the shore in mexico when i came across a beautiful black V8 RS4. The owner was totally cool we were weaving in and out of traffic cruising just being car guys having fun when finally we got some open road and we backed it down to 40 and i let him take the jump. I smashed the gas and immediately started pulling from 40-100 i put about 3 cars on him. I was expecting to beat him because I have an apr stage 1 tune and intake but i didnt think it was going to be that bad. Anyways anyone here have any worthy kills?

I had some fun with a Camaro ZL1 and my APR Stage 2. I beat him a couple pulls,but I think it was poor shifting on his part because the last pull we did we were pretty much dead even most of the way. He pulled off right after that so I'll never know who's faster.

I'm not surprised by this at all as you have far more torque than he does. Stock vs Stock would probably have been much more even and he may have needed a carbon clean! About the only "kill" story I have is from several years ago when I had my 2007 RS4. I came up to a light against an M3 (of similar model year) and there was very little contest as I pulled several car lengths on him at the launch and shut it down before exceeding the speed limit too much.

I drive an RS5 now and I'm sure your modded S5 would pull on me quite easily.

From personal experience with my cars, I'm not surprised either. I have a GIAC Stage 1 + intake B8 S4 which will take my stock RS5 and my stock RS4. OTOH, it would be pretty close between the S4 and my full JHM RS4, at least at sea level. At my altitude, the NA cars lose out regardless.

^ One great thing about high altitude is getting to shit on some NA supercars with a turbo 4-banger with a grocery cart wing.

Ive beaten a friends rs4 a couple times with my stage 2 a. They are not that fast. U would destroy it from a dig. nice kill.

I don't mean to sound like Scrooge, though i am sure it'll come off that way.
1. performance cars are meant to have 3 pedals
2. my father has a v6 supercharged S4 (2010) and my 2010 S5 V8 though not quite as quick, sounds significantly better than the 6 cyl Audi (confirmed by both genders and various ages)
3. having cars like ours aren't about the 'kills", they are more about the "thrills" offered. I own a 98 Camaro with a forged LS2 turbo motor and 6 spd manual trans (800+crank hp). Recently went to Las Vegas and drove what i thought was my dream car (Ferrari 458 Italia flippy paddle gearbox)...i loved the sound and handling of the Ferrari, but it was missing something...power and a stick. No matter how good autos have gotten, they still haven't come close to the feel of a proper manual transmission car. Unless you come from the gaming generation focused on 10ths of a second for times, you simply cannot replace a standard transmission.
4. there will always be cars faster and slower than ours...what matters is how they make you feel. Sound, chassis, looks, etc.
