google maps issue

Hi guys,
when i switch the map view to Google maps it doesnt, or it moves very slow and is sluggish. almost lost and the map doesnt show.

anyone has similiar issue?? does it require phone service to work??

I know this may sound really dumb but are you sure you still have the service? The same thing happened to me and when I double checked, it turns out my free period was already up. I had the same issues you do.

Yes, it requires a sim card. I'm surprised it worked for you without a sim card (or without you knowing that there is a sim card in the car)...

i knew there is a sim but just wasnt sure it needed to work with it.
