I just noticed this piece of plastic behind the grill. There's also a piece of styrofoam but I'm not sure you can see it. I rotated the plastic piece so it can be seen from different angles. Does anyone know what it is?

It's the cover for the crash bar behind the grill in the middle. If I'm not mistaken the plastic sits on the top of the crash bar and styrofoam. Must have come loose some how.

He's correct. It's the foam that goes behind the grille and the plastic that goes on top of the crash bar.

Thanks for the replies, I guess it's a sign to get the RS4 grill since I need to take of the original grill out to out it back.

Agree with above. But wanted to add... Recently hit a goose and had that grilled support puncture my inter cooler. So if be careful and make sure to get it all back aligned. And get a sc inter cooler cover while you're at it.
