    -take your time
    -label everything
    -be patient
    -organize your space
    -do not re-use TTY(stretch) bolts
-use a bentley manual for the timing part of the job(torque values are critical)
-check cam timing at least twice before closing the covers
-beer after work only, gotta have full focus

worst thing that could happen would be setting the timing with the chains loose or screwing up a mechanical adjuster assembly, which would result in timing codes at initial startup(means you're starting the job all over again)

btw , are you mechanically inclined ?

no. They're low torque and the guides just slide on and off, they're NOT bolted.

Am mechanically inclined. Also I already have the motor apart staring at my broken guides lol. Rented tools and I'm waiting for them in the mail. To my understanding there's a Bentley manual link floating around (hopefully)
Also do I need a breaker for the chains?
Is there time by marks? (Haven't sat and looked at the motor too much over the last 2 weeks it's been apart) it's a headache to look at 😂

I second "label everything", including nuts and bolts, and add get all your gaskets, seals, etc. lined up in advance. Also, do mark the timing chains so you can put them back on the right way round - I missed that step and so am fitting new ones...

I would recommend getting the Bentley, idk about a link but you can purchase from ECS or other sites for <$100.

Here is my thread from last year if it helps; mainly don't forget to change all the little gaskets on the backside of the tensioners as they don't all come with the timing kits (I know my JHM kit did not have them all).

I have replaced the lower tensioner's o-ring with one from a generic o-ring kit, since it wasn't in the jhm timing kit.

badger's thread has a lot of great info.
You do not break the chains they come off when you remove the sprockets. It is intimidating until you dive into it. You can do it, just get a manual

Here was part of my journey
