Throttle Body and Internal Control Module Issues

I have been throwing throttle body codes every so often for a while. I usually clear them and perform an adaptation (even after a good cleaning). But I got tired of doing so, so I replaced the throttle body with a certified used one. Also I just recently replaced my coils with the 034 motorsport's rs6 coil conversion kit. My car seemed to run a lot better, but just today I had to drive to work in limp mode. I was throwing another throttle body code 17953, throttle body codes still seem to come back (not necessarily this one) after the new throttle body was installed. I also threw 18012 Internal Control Module, Output Driver IC Error. I haven't seen much on this. A few say adaptation could fix this, and other possible solutions, but I am just looking for possible insight on my issues.

Ive never seen tbody adapt really do anything for our cars. Thats after many flashes, ecu swaps, parts swaps, you name it.
The older 1.8 with 1/2 and 1/2 tbody needs it to setup the iac side, but ours seem to figure it out well enough on their own.

If that thing is telling you there is a problem in the module, good chance it is right.
Ecus are cheap nowadays and not a bad idea to have a spare handy.
Check the wiring, but intermittent probs are a fkn nightmare.
There are only 2 things needed to make an Audi work properly - Duct tape and WD40. If it moves and it shouldn't - Duct tape. If it doesn’t move and it should - WD40.

The output driver is in the ECU itself... so if you've replaced the TB already and verified the wiring, and now you have that specific code there is a good chance it's the ECU.

Throttle body plugs and wires are fine, I have tried doing adaptations with my hand held vag-com, but I have mixed people telling me that I actually need the computer version to do a successful adaptation. I have been running throttle body codes for a while, also a passenger pre cat code as well (02 sensor). The ECU looks to be fine, no condensation in the housing box and appears to look fine (I understand that it could still be the ECU) Just trying to eliminate options and see if anyone else has had the same issue.

I don't know who did the tune either off the shelf or personally made. Its a stage 1 max boost 17.
