need to replace axles and cv boots, part numbers?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
So I try looking for part numbers for the front l/r axles B6 S4, cannot seem to find the correct ones. tried calling the local Audi and get put on hold for ever..

I have a friend who has a l/r for an A4, will those work?

going to be also be changing my front struts in the process while adding B5 perches, and preferences? this is a daily driver, not a track car.

A4 axles are different. Is the car manual or auto? The axles are different.

they were both for automatic, mine is a tip. I would rather have the correct ones but both of my boots are shot to hell, I don't notice any issue driving though, I guess they have been this way for a while now.

Derp day for me, I should have looked on JHM...

    raxles.com also has them

I don't have the part # handy right now for the axles themselves - but did you look on your current ones? IIRC there was a sticker or stamp on the OEM ones I pulled off that had the info.

I do know the bolts are N90441103 (I needed to purchase a few of that were stripped)

you can also call napa or find a place that rebuilds them. here in NJ there is a shop that does it for 95$ with 1 year warranty.

Actually i have one axle i could sell you but probably shipping will be a bitch. It was rebuilded 2k before i did trans swap. Second axle would need new boot since i ripped it while pulling the engine but it was also rebuilded.

And my wheels are 9.5 with 8mm spacer front and 10,5 rear no spacer but dont remember the et right now lol. I think 49 front and 42 rear
