    Driveshaft CV replacement?

So i'm getting some terrible noises/vibrations from the trans tunnel area. I've checked all my mounts and nothing is loose. both front half shafts are fine. i can feel the vibrations on the passenger foot-well when i put my hand the inside of it right next to the trans. i'm not getting any vibrations coming from the armrest so i don't think it the center support bearing. My last option is driveshaft CV is bad. has anyone changed them? I looked them up to buy and the picture looks like it is already splined and comes with a C clip, so i'm assuming once the clip is removed it should slide off. Any ideas?

Is it a vibration when you're on the throttle or do you get a rattling when you let off the throttle?

Prop-shaft CVs dried out on my old A4. They would give similar vibrations. Remove the shaft and inspect

I don't think it's an on off gas issue, I feel like it more rpm defendant. I need to inspect.

Edit. I know that my car like to do it from 70-76 mph is the worst. That's in 5th gear. I've been setting cruse control at 69 mph so it doesn't do it. It does it at other speeds while driving in town, I just remember this because i do mostly highway driving.

Anyone have any insight on how to replace these? Or atleast what to look for when I inspect it?
