Up for sale is a set of (4) BBS CI-R wheels. Wheels are 20x8.5 with an ET42.
The wheels have a platinum silver finish and are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport 235/30/20 tires. There is roughly 50-60% tread left and were used for 10-12k miles and never tracked.
Wheels are in fairly good condition but one wheel does have some light damage and a slight bend. The other 3 are in near perfect condition.
Upon inspecting the bend, it looks as if the outer ring took the brunt of it. Luckily the outer ring can be replaced, so I will provide the buyer with one free of charge.
The other damage could easily be filed down and significantly reduced. If you're located around DC, I can refer you to a shop that can make it nearly perfect again for a minimal charge.
Original price of the wheels, excluding install/shipping was $2800. Original value of the tires excluding shipping was over $1300. The total without shipping or install was well over $4,000 a year ago.
Asking price is a ridiculous $1600. The reason for the low price is:
1) I'd like to sell them ASAP.
2) This price reflects a discount given there is damage to one of the wheels.
Additionally, if anyone takes delivery of these wheels before 9/23 - I will take another $100 off for a total of $1500 + shipping.
Price is firm. I highly prefer local buyers to avoid shipping hassles, but will consider it only if buyer covers all shipping and shipping related costs (packaging, insurance, etc.)
