I think kits complete sell for $500 even used others are asking $550 and it looks like all that's missing is chain, pick up tube, and hardware. Helicoil kit for the pump and a bolt for the tensioner.

No need to helicoil on a BPG since they have the hole with threads for the tensionner already there from Audi :P

I still have to source a couple of parts to do the install. I also have to see if I can find a DIY as I don't know anything about the install itself, just the benefits of the conversion. I'll try to snap pics whenever I do it.

No need to helicoil on a BPG since they have the hole with threads for the tensionner already there from Audi :P

I've seen the hole prethreaded on both a BPY and BPG block.

BPG was out of my 06 A4 and the BPY came outof a 2007 GLI.

There were BPY's in 2006 in the Passat iirc, might be MY related? Anyways, as I mentionned earlier, we cant say for sure with VAG products lol

I.e.: I was supposed to have a Rev A cam in my car according to everything I've read online, but a Rev B came out with production date of March 2005, so it was there when the car left the plant.
