My B6 RS4 build...

So this is something that I've messed around for a while but now it's finally happening.

The plan was simple; to build something that Audi didn't - A B6 RS4 albeit with slightly more power courtsey of a JHM stage 1.5 supercharger kit.

I started with a 2007 RS4, a 2004 Japanese imported S4 and just a Regular A4 for the body panels. The original RS4 had all euro spec seats etc and so I went to JHM and bought the entire parts catalogue including the supercharger.

Plan is to paint it in MB cardinal red designo metallic.
Wheels will be Rohanna RC7 20" 11's rear & 10's on the front with some P-zero's wrapped around them. ET 28 & ET 33 with 10 mm spacers.

thanks guys! Panel work is virtually done although couldnt use RS4 rear doors as they are a PIA with the handles being in a different location to the front so we used B6 S4 rears and shaped the same as the RSr4 doors, car is heading to the my shop for the mechanical and paint. Should be about another 3 weeks worth of work.IMG_9325 2.jpg

I'm trying to get hold of a Votex front bumper then modify it as that is as close to RS4 flavor I can see on a B6. Not using the B7 bumper

Really Votex hmmm, have you given a thought about USP bumper. Looks to be aesthetically more pleasing to the eye than Votex.

Thing is, Votex is more exclusive as it unavailable these days and also very hard to find. I looked at the USP bumper but it doesnt really carry the RS look-perhaps im wrong? lets see

Pretty sure this STARTED as an RS4, he put b6 doors on and modified the rear fenders etc. Interesting project though.

Exactly that; it was a 2007 B7 RS4. Been working with Dru over at JHM and bought their entire parts catalogue for the RS4; so have everything from an LSD to Supercharger. Just about to order the Stage 1+.

The reason i wanted to do this is that ive never seen it done before so thought why not as cars are pretty cheap in Dubai.

Has anyone any experience of either Eurogear or VIS racing carbon fiber hoods or trunks?? What is the quality like? which is a better brand? Also is there any discount for forum members?

I think VIS makes the Vorsteiner replica hood now and several people have been happy with it. Not sure on the B6 CF trunks, but there's a B7 CF trunk that looks like it fits an RS4 and it does not.

No, the RS came only with one mirror type. The mirrors and doors are from the S4 I think.

i went with VIS racing for both in the end.

Those are the S4 mirrors, the original RS4 mirrors will be going on.

A friend of mine is going the opposite way, turning an A4 3.2 V6 FSI S-line into an RS4 on the outside. The car was just painted yesterday I think.

The color is Sepang Blue with a small modification - instead of the white pearls, he put white x-es.

Mercedes-Benz Cardinal Red designo metallic - is on the new AMG GT and looks like a deep blood red. Very much an 'in' color at the moment.

Front bumper is going to be a hybrid of an S4 upper and vortex lower. Pics to follow. Car is being stripped down for paint currently.
