    Enlaes CF decklid spoiler - advice on repairing rock chip?

    never would I have thought i would get a rock chip on a trunk spoiler. but here we are.

    i've read various places on the intertubes about clear nail polish, but i dont think my ocd would be able to deal with that. the fitment of the spoiler is bad enough.


    thoughts?

    You should probably scrap it...and sell it to me >:) FWIW I'd clean it with alcohol, then use clear coat sprayed into a small container, dab it on in layers, let it set for 24-48h, then 2 stage wetsand, cut and polish.

    nail polish a couple layers and then wetsand and polish. You might still see the general area where the chip was depending on the angle. Everything i have read said its hard to make it perfect unless you tackle the entire spoiler.

    this is a before pic, i dabbed it with some clear nail polish with a toothpic, will add another layer tonight and wetsand on the weekend.
