    Tire predicament

Got a nail in my rear right a couple days ago took it to one shop declined to fix due to it being on the shoulder/too close to sidewall. Took it to another shop where they agreed to patch it but were not able to guarantee it. 2 days since the patch job and the tire is still holding air after driving for about 100 miles total and 60 miles of that on the highway at about 70 mph. My problem is I'm really worried about the patching holding up and I am paranoid about a blowout or driving at excessive speeds or hard turns in fear of putting too much pressure on the tire. 7k+ miles on the tires, Pirelli Cinturato P7, I've searched through dozens of posts but can't seem to find an answer to ease my mind. If I wanted to replace the tire do I need to do all 4 because of the Quattro, can I do the 1, do I do the 1 and shave it or do I tough it out with the patch? Any input is greatly appreciated.

I think you want all four to be within 3/32 of each other, get it shaved. I wouldn't want to drive on it for the same reasons you said.
