    2.0t FSI rear main seal

Hey, I am in the process of overhauling a BWT 2.0t FSI engine. New rings, bearings, seals, head components etc., my only issue however is I can't find any information on doing the rear main seal. The engine is out and torn apart, and I am able to see the rear main itself. But I don't want to tear into it only to find I got in over my head, I like to be methodical in my engine endeavors. I searched the forum and Internet, to no avail. I even got a Bentley manual thinking it would hold all the answers, tbh it's kinda disappointing how little the book has engine related. Anyways any info would be very appreciated, thanks in advance.

You've got the engine fully disassembled and you're worried you may not be able to get the RMS on? It's very easy to do. I documented my complete engine build in this thread: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...s-how-to-do-it
