    PRNDS interior lights not working

For the past two months i noticed that on my 2009 Audi A4 that the interior lights near the gearshift (PRNDS) have not been working. Everything else on the dashboard lights up except for the (PRNDS). I looked in the car manual to see if it might be a fuse, but i didn't really find anything useful and a google search showed up nothing useful as well.

Has anyone ever had this small issue?

I also have another issue in which a couple people i meet from audizine tried to help me with but no luck in fixing it. I have ecodes installed on my Audi and they simply don't work. The only thing that works is the left headlight bulb. The DRL's on both sides don't work and the bulb on the right headlight doesn't turn on. Also the right side fog light doesn't turn on but the left fog light does. With the help of fellow Audizine members, they were able to use vagcom to input the coding again this all happened after i took my A4 in for a 75k mile service in which the dealer put the coding back to stock.

Does anyone have a ideas on what is causing my headlights to not work? The headlights are functioning as they are brand new and the wires are in good shape. Maybe there is a blown fuse?

You can pull up the prnds near the gearshift super easy. Just yank up. It might be disconnected or broken. Easy to replace.

Bumping this after searching for an hour. This is the only situation I can find matching my own.

OEM xenons and only the driver's side works. Only driver's side fog light as well. The interior PRNDS lights are off, as well as the push button start and the red convenience lights that illuminate the console at night. All fuses are good. This all started after I disconnected the battery for a short amount of time to install air ride power and ground wires and messed with a few of the fuses. Blew one in the rear set for the cigarette lighter, 15a, swapped it out and still nothing.

This issue is exactly what is going on with my car and I'm afraid it has to do with the computer being reset but I'm not sure what would even need changed in vagcom at this point if that were the case.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry for reviving this old post.

I had resolved my issue, but mine was because my car was bagged and I had a fuse tap in the driver's side dash fuse box. It had spread the one side of the fuse holders metal legs too much and was causing the fuse to not touch anymore. Take a pair of needle nose pliers or hemostats and squeeze them back shut inside the fuse panel. I forget which fuse it was though because it was almost 3 years ago now.
