Attention to all the B5S4 owners on here, i have a 2001 B5 S4 with VAST stage 2 tune that i have for a few year with no problems other than doing routine maintenance. My car have been running a little rich and bucking under boost lately scan the whole car with VCDS and got these results.

    17861 EGT 1(G235)
P1453 - 35-00 OPEN OR SHORT TO PLUS

16826 - EVAP EMSSION CONTROL SYS

00787 - TEMPERATURE SENSOR IN FRESH AIR INTAKE DUCK (G89)
30-10 OPEN OR SHORT TO PLUS - INTERMITTENT

I am trying to see if i can get the EGT's coded out all the other stuff i will sort those out. don't what to pay $431 each for EGT sensors. So please if anyone could point me in the direction where i can get the EGT coded out thanks in advanced.

Good chance the vast tune is tamper proof so you wont be able to mess with it yourself.

Gut on qw makes delete gizmos for the egts, complatence is his name iirc.

Find the small leak and fix it.

The g89 is the sensor in the duct right below the cabin filter. Its a fun one to change and can make the hvac do weird stuff.
There are only 2 things needed to make an Audi work properly - Duct tape and WD40. If it moves and it shouldn't - Duct tape. If it doesn’t move and it should - WD40.

Ok thanks a lot for the input, will look into complatence delete, all so notice that both EGT is black in color and one should be brown and the other black, which leads me to believe that one was replace before.

Instead of coding them out hit up sid motorsports. U can get bith boards for $85 and just solder them into ur old egts.

I have two of these that I just received from him and don't plan on using them now. Let me know if you want them. I'll ship them for $75 and you won't have to wait 13 days to get them from Poland.
