Hey all! Complete noob.

Howdy!
New to the Audi world. Transplant from about half a dozen VW's over the years. Picked up a '11 S4 with 57k on it a couple weeks ago from a BMW dealer in MD and absolutely love this car! It's a whole different beast coming from a MK6 GTI.
I've been putzing around in the B8 S4 threads but thought I'd say hi here as well. The basic mods are in my head already but I did want to ask "the locals" a question though. While I can still take advantage of the initial dealer 90 day warranty, where's the best place in NoVa to have someone do a complete once over on the car for me? The closer to Manassas the better. I want to know what to look out for and if the bumps and creaks I hear/feel are normal or not. Never driven a quatro before either and would like to know if the different "feels" I get are normal.

You could have an audi dealer check it out or take it to NGP in Lorton, or Induktion although thats not close to Manassas. Don't ask if you should go with APR/GIAC or other, lol.

There's a lot of us that randomly hang out for different things so just check the mid-a section.

I won't start that argument! Had APR from NGP in the GTI and was very satisfied with the results. Will likely just go back to that.
Sway bar and affordable intake and exhaust is first on the list.

Congrats on the purchase. I am looking to get back into an Audi again as well. Did you have someone do a PPI on the car or did you do it yourself? The S4 I'm currently interested in is being sold by a BMW dealer as well.

Picked it up at NW BMW in Owings Mills. Got an extended warranty on it but it's also covered by the dealer for the first 90 days. So I want to have someone go over it with a fine toothed comb before that initial time is up. There are a couple noises I want to have checked out.

Touch base with jimmybones... If he's available he can go over it "with a fine tooth comb". He's good people and will tell you straight up any issues and recommended fixes.

Welcome, exhaust is useless on this platform, and consider going to a dealer and paying them an hour or two to do a full inspection. Are you sure that 90 day warranty is good?

That's why I'm not going crazy expensive on it. I just want a better sound. De-res and x-pipe kind of thing.
I'll probably take it to Chantilly when I get back. The dealer gave it a full 90 day warranty off the lot. Then my extended warranty picks up

Congrats! I have a 12 s4 I'm out in owings mills and have been staring at that s4 at NW BMW for months every time I drive by. Glad to see it went to a car guy!

Is that the new Audi dealership that just opened? I live like 2 minutes from that dealer... How was your experience there? I assume decent but just curious
