2017 Audi A3..... Yuck wtf

I bought a 2016 A3 quattro last month because of the huge discounts offered on the last few. I was torn because I wanted to see what the 2017 would look like and what the new equipment was. I'm actually relived I didn't wait. First off the new grille is terrible, don't like it at all. The tail lights on the 2017 look way better than the 2016 but they got rid of the dual exhaust outlets for 2017......why the f would they ruin it and that diffuser looks like ass too. Android auto and apple car play are great new options and the the fact that hid lights are standard on all models is nice too. Maybe it's just me but I'm not a fan of the whole package

It could be that the configurator is wrong about the dual exhaust. Since Europe does not have such configuration previously. We will have to wait and see...but if it is indeed the case, then it is a big step back.

I also agree that the new diffuser looks terrible on the A3. The new S3 diffuser looks better than the pre-face lift however.

The front takes some time to get used to and while I don't like the grille as much, I do find the new headlamps better.

its been awhile since I owned super swampers and have actually been to their headquarters. Now I will have to look them up to see if they have any new models lmao

Lol. I can only imagine Audi either intentionally sets the ride height of the A-line models high so the S-line on up look more aggressive (lower), or perhaps they've found average drivers just want more clearance for running over things. That wheel gap is hideous IMO though - BMW has always done a better job with their cars in this regard.

You also sound like every B8.5 owner when the B9 came out as well. It's the typical 'I don't have the newest, therefore envious' syndrome that gripes many of us. Often results in finally breaking down and upgrading.

Look at the smartphone industry, really there is no reason to buy the upgraded phone besides a little tweak here and there, but people will line-up for it, credit card in hand.

Just be happy with the deal you got on the outgoing car and be done with it. I know I am with my $0 monthly payment, and I still got another 70,000 km of warranty left, but the new RS3 and S4 would be mighty tempting...

So where did you get your psychoanalysis degree from? I don't even know what a B9 is but I do know what I don't like about the new A3 so thanks for coming out brah

It's the B9 (2017) A4, which the A3 and all future Audi's 'design language' is based on. So if you don't like it, get use to it, all Audi's are going to look like it.

Thanks but if actually cared what a B9 was I would have googled it. I actually don't need to like it get use to anything except my car. You always so crabby or did mommy forget to cut the crust off? Whole point of forums is to have an OPINION or to ask questions...... brah
