Anyone ever have their rear sun shade not work, out of no where? Sounds like a relay is clicking back there but the motor does nothing. Worked the other day.

Had that happen too. I lightly sprayed silicone lubricant around the edge of the screen when seated. It "popped" up so I lubed the pivot points on the scissoring mechanism while it was up. I cleaned and used silicone lubricant where the shade seats when closed and it's worked consistently since. Might want to try if you haven't already. I suppose it could be a motor / relay but I'd try the clean and lube approach first! GL

Mine acts up on super hot days where it won't go up. But the scilicone spray sounds like a good idea.

I loosened the three mounting bolts and it went up. Thanks for the advice on lubing it, will do that too.
