    Sport suspension and springs

I'm sure this has been covered here a number of times but can't find anything for the MQB platform. I'm in a lease of a 2016 Sline (summer of Audi package). Wanting to put a slight drop with HR sport springs. How do the stock dampers hold up? I've read and heard of premature failure to the latest dampers are far better than they used to be. Is anyone running this setup and if so how's the ride (bouncy) anything negative about it? Pics would be great.

    THanks in advance!

You have to take it all apart no matter what. Might as well buy the supporting mods. Then at that point you'll be kicking yourself because you're $200 away from having height adjustable coilovers.

A lot of people prefer the Emmanuelle design ones for comfort

I was actually just reading up on those and seem to be a perfect give/take if they are designed to use with the stock dampers. I would probably assume they do not perform quite like H&Rs would though.?

They won't handle as aggressive as H&R springs. You can put a stiffer sway and end links to get back some performance but at that point prolly better to go H&R if you are looking for more performance and don't mind sacrificing ride quality

May have just sold me!! I'm all about ride quality as I have a commute for work, but on the fence about the performance side of things. I would think they would still perform better than stock correct?

Cant say from first hand experience but I'd say it does improve performance. I personally have Bilstein B14 coilovers and there are many people who feel it's right in the middle of comfort and performance. With the edge towards performance, after all it is a coilover. The cost of parts in this topic isn't where the money will go. If you do it yourself; for the price of a spring + install at a shop, you can afford a very reputable coilover.

I have the ED springs. First off ride wise much better than stock. Not as bouncy and more comfortable on the freeway and roads. For performance they are also better than stock. For the price they are the way to go. If you want serious performance and adjust-ability the Coils are the way to go. But I love getting in my car even more now and ripping corners plus the height is perfect with the springs.

Anyone have experience with s3 springs and s3 front and rear sway bars? Got a good deal from a forum member.
