    shipping recommendation request

    Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Interested to hear any recommendations for shipping in the US. I have quote requests out to Intercity, Executive and RCG. Any first hand experiences would be much appreciated. It's only a $150 flight and 7hr drive which I'm considering but not sure I want to take a day to do this tbh.

    I've used uship.com and angelsmovingautos.com no issues with either.

    Take the 4 year old along, give the wifey some R&R, and make a road trip out of it. I took a one-way flight to Chicago from San Francisco a few years ago to buy a car and drive it back. My daughter was 3 at the time and thought it was the coolest three day road trip in the world.

    Thomas Sunday Transportation. They are not brokers, have actually had the owner of the company pick up a few of my cars. Drivers updated me everyday via text or phone call.

    I'll post an official intro thread once I have her detailed but I picked up the Lava Gray one out of Tennessee!

    I see the vin is on the registry and appears enthusiast owned with a folder of service records and OEM flat bottom wheel.

    Ouhhh Lava Gray, nice score Proper photoshoot is a must to show off such rare color! It'd be nice to see it right next to Daytona Gray to see how different two colors are.

    It's really unbelievable. I'll have to get an intro thread going but I bought this without ever seeing it in person - very much outside my comfort zone and I couldn't be happier - it is in incredible shape.

    The original owner was an Audizine member - included in the folder of service records is an email from owner number one to owner number two mentioning the forum. (I'm number three btw!)

    This was of course only from midway through production but pretty awesome note from the original owner on Lava Gray!

    Appears that's the same list but the pic I posted was a print out the original owner had in the service file - I think he likely printed it in 2007 so none of the 2008s were included which the most recent one shows 3 Lava Gray which I think is accurate.

    Maybe I'm crazy - I haven't noticed it in person but looking at that pic it appears the rear bumper may have been repainted.

    Nice pick up, I have another car that is Lava Grey. Its a cool color that really changes in different lighting.
