do these maf readings look normal?

I'm trying to figure out why I'm running lean. My guess is there's a vacuum leak somewhere that I haven't been able to find but I'm hoping someone can tell me if the maf readings on this log look normal or not? This is a WOT run up to 5700

That's not a WOT run. Look at your log. Also log just one channel and hit the turbo button.

I guess you're right, I was trying to find the one spot in a long log where I went WOT and that was only the end of what I'm showing here. What I put here must have been me starting in 1st from idle and then shifting to 2nd somewhere in the 2k range and then that's where I went WOT. Sorry, I'll get a better log and post it up

edit - actually looking closer it looks like I shifted real low and entered 2nd at 1k, and iirc I floored it as soon as I entered 2nd but it seemed to hesitate a lot. I don't exactly remember for sure now though, I'll be sure to remember on my next log

ok I took another log. The site won't let me upload a pdf so you can see it here: https://www.scribd.com/document/323013450/Untitled-1

That was in 2nd gear and I had the pedal to the floor the whole time. As you can see, the ecu isn't really letting me go WOT

the fuel trims are now slightly lower than my first log showed. 6.8% bank1 and 4.5% bank2 for idle, and 19-20% on each for partial. I cleared the codes fairly recently so it reset the trims and I guess it's still making adjustments. It still hasn't triggered a cel yet

I just cleaned my maf and replaced a few vacuum lines. I definitely need a new air filter which I am ordering tonight. Well here's a new log I made after doing that, still not great. This time I logged 1st gear, I was flooring it the whole time but you can see it did the same thing where the ecu dialed back the throttle at about 3400 rpm. at least that's what I assume is happening. I doubt it's the maf, probably another vacuum leak I still need to find. But if anyone smarter than me can tell anything from this log it would be really helpful. here it is: https://www.scribd.com/document/323042329/Untitled-3

you're in some sort of limp mode. Your throttle is holding back. Thus your MAF is reading lower. Doesn't make sense....

I fixed some major vacuum leaks and the car is running way better. I can feel a ton more power and a better idle and better rev holding/shifting. The adaptation(idle) trim is now at less than 2% on each bank but the adaptation (partial) are up around 20%. Not sure what could still be causing that?

I logged another WOT run in 1st and was expecting this one to look a lot better, it definitely felt better. But you can see the maf readings are still dipping down when I get past 3k.

edit - I guess I included a little more of the pre-WOT stuff than I meant to, again, but scroll down a little and you'll see where it starts

two things, please use google drive/docs to share documents so there's no damn limit and we don't have to pay for an app.

Second, there's some issue where your throttle closes to 45% at 3200 and starts to open to 100% at 6800. That doesn't make any sense. Unless that's a weird traction/stability control that I've never noticed before. I'd say turn ESP off and try 1st again outta curiosity.

But seriously, to be a really useful log, Please do a THIRD GEAR PULL from 2k rpms to redline. 1st and 2nd are way to short for any sort of real resolution.

I guess I can take the time to figure out google drive, I've never used that before. I'm lazy so I just used the first site I found that would let me upload a doc without registering an account, just 2 clicks and it's up... it shouldn't require an app, I can see it in my browser without having to log in or anything, but it does have a huge annoying ad so I'll look into google

it's weird that it cuts throttle like that. you'd think the change to 45% throttle would be a lot more noticeable but it feels like a smooth increase in power and acceleration. One thing I've noticed is that whenever I reset the fuel trims my first wot run always has one or two spots, probably right around 3k, where it does have a very noticeable drop in power and then lurches forward again. I also see a handful of misfires after resetting the trims, but not on any particular cylinder or bank.

I can try logging third gear but I think pulling it to redline would put me into the criminal speeding zone even on the highway. Not that I don't speed but I don't like to risk that big of a ticket very often

Yea google is easy, if you already have a gmail account, just go to drive.google.com and hit the lil "NEW" icon in the upper left, then when the file is uploaded you right click on it and click "Get shareable link"

The problem with scribd is it only allow me to view 3 pages on the browser and says to dl the app and then the app says I only get to look at 3 documents for free. Hence...it's dumb.

Anyway just hit it from a freeway onramp provided you have the room and preferably at night when there's less traffic or none and at least take it to 6500. You're in AZ you'll be alright, you can see a cop for miles LOL
