So there's a new noise coming from my 2002 1.8TQ 5MT. It seems to be a fast paced clicking/clattering coming from under the center console. If I go WOT, it dissappears. But as soon as I let off, it comes back even faster. The faster the car goes, the faster the clattering. Any gear, and in neutral. Theres also a whine. (gear whine, I'm guessing).
The rear diff is wet AF, that explains the whine, not the chatter.
