    Poor MPG

    Anyone has any idea how to improve MPG . Mainly im doing work/home runs of 5 miles

    I was amazed at the consumption you were getting, far more than me then I realised you're running a diesel.

    And I just have to say I do not miss UK petrol prices at all :(

    It's a TDI, so I'm not sure they suffer from the same carbon buildup issues that their gas counterparts suffer.

    Let me say first I'm no expert at all, but I was under the impression that the diesel variant doesn't get the carbon build up for the same reason as our petrol engines but all diesels can and do suffer with varying degrees of carbon build up by the very nature of the design.

    So just to update . I did 150 miles motorway journey averaging 70-80mph and ...
