Do the 2003 A4 convertible's have xenons as standard? How would I be able to tell it where xenon or not?

The best way to make sure is to take a look at the sticker on the headlights and check their part number:

    Headlight Assembly (A4/S4 B6 Cabriolet, Xenon, Right) - 8H0941030AJ
    Headlight Assembly (A4 B6 Cabriolet, Halogen, Right) - 8H0941004AG

Also, an easier way is to look at the back of the bulb cover if yours is still there. Typically, Xenon headlights will have a yellow high voltage sticker warning like this:

If you look closely at the picture above to the left of the yellow sticker, you will also find an imprint on the housing like this if you have Xenons:
    H7
    D2S
    W2W

D2S is a Xenon bulb type.

I don't believe xenon is stock in those A4s. I do know they are more common than not, however.

I have the KZ2 sticker, but it says
    1-H9
    1-H7
    1- 2357A

But both headlights have a blue huge to it, ( The one more blue than the other) and it has headlight washers. I'm so confused

Get your car facing a wall and turn the headlights off. Give them 5 mins or so to cool off and then turn on again. Xenons usually take a few seconds to come up to full brightness and it's relatively obvious to see when watching the light pattern up against a wall.

No B6 A4s had HID xenon headlights as original equipment. In every case they are an extra cost option. Another way to tell if your A4 has HID headlights, is when they are first turned ON, HID lamps will brightly flash, then continue to get brighter for 10 seconds or so. Standard halogen incandescent lamps, when turned ON are at full brightness immediately and don't get brighter as they first warm up from cold over several seconds. As a practical matter, if you don't know or can't tell that your A4 has HID headlights, it probably doesn't.

It's weird because the light is very similar to the Cayenne Xenon's. But in the Audi they don't self level. So is that mean they are not Xenons? I did your test but I'm still confused. lol

    H9 High beam bulb type
    H7 Low beam bulb type
    2357a Turn signal

If were a factory xenon, low beam would be D2S bulb. Audi never used an H7 xenon bulb. The blue hue you are seeing is likely from the cutoff shield dissecting the light.

It could also be a D1S if it were xenon, and most A4's had D1S bulbs. AFAIK, only early 2002 models had D2S. My guess is that if they look the same as HIDs, someone retrofitted an HID kit into the halogen housings.

I gotcha. B5's only hav D2S for OEM xenons but I do know there are no OEM H7 xenons. And good thought on someone maybe using a H7 xenon kit. I didn't think of that earlier.

OP, best way would be to pull the bulb and post a picture.

I'm 95% sure that theres no HID kit. The car belonged to a Lawyer since new, then she gave it to her husband. Who only used it to drive to the train station.

Lets say it is Halogen, anyone have experience with LED headlights?
