yet another bluetooth question

I just bought a 2011 A4 with the concert radio ...all MMi controls are under the radio and there is no navigation system. On the MMI interface there rre settings for the phone so I assume it have Bluetooth.

I cannot get any phone to pair with the car and the service manager at my Audi dealer tried also with no luck .He said there was something wrong with the car and offered to have a tech look at it ..for $129/hr.
He said it could just need a resetting or a module changed Although not essential, I would like to have my Iphone 4 connected but I'm not willing to spend $129 to find out I need to replace some $500 part.

Is there something on this car that typically causes that sort of problem? Would a reboot of the system help and how do we reboot this version of MMI. I have seen many articles and videos of rebooting the type with the controls below the shifter but not on this model.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Are you sure you have MMI to begin with? I find it strange that you would have the base "concert" radio with MMI especially if the car doesn't have Nav.

I believe B8 A4/S4 don't have Bluetooth capability, only on cars starting in 2013 (B8.5).

They have Bluetooth for hands free phone so your phone should connect. Will it stream music through this Bluetooth connection the answer is no.
