RS4 Euro Seat Swap Question (B7 RS4)

Hi,
Are the front euro sport back seats a "bolt-in" modification? Anything special with the back seats?

I'll ask later about where to put the resistor for the air-bag disconnection...

Anyone have a DYI thread or pictures of their swap?

There is a difference in airbags I think.. You need to get a resistor that disabled the occupant sensor for the passenger seat if I recall. I think Europrice sells them. Not sure on rears..

They are bolt in, and only require you to change some coding in vagcom to fix the occupancy sensor, or you can take the leathers off and add the sensor. I just coded mine, one of the best mods I've done.

Ive seen this car once in person.. These seats/ seat color make it stand out so much more then a normal rs4. It looks very proper.

Do it! financially it was a terrible idea, but the way they complete the car is amazing!

Yeah lets do it. I am going to hit up cars and coffee next Saturday Sept 10th 8am at jericho beach if you would like to join. Its put on by lamborghini vancouver so its mostly super cars and Porsches but its short and fun none the less.

Seats are bolt in as mentioned but you can't code the occupancy sensor out. I think this topic has been beat to death before even though there isn't much documentation on it. Flying tomatoes and Kryptonic both have the seats and I'm sure a few others but they both had to get the occupancy sensor inserted and swap a few other parts like the belt buckles. The seats themselves come with resistors already for the airbags. I tried Oscar Meyers coding and couldn't get rid of the codes. Not sure why his works, maybe something different for Canadian cars. The euro cars don't have this issue either because the RS4 came with comfort seats and the bucket seats so simple coding allows to have either.

Yeah i tried to buy a set of euros but that fell through so I ordered a set of Recaro CS's in leather with the heat option instead. Pretty excited about them.
