    Replacing boot floor handle

    Does anybody know how to get this thing out?

    It broke the pin of which holds the spring. So its constantly sticking up.

    Asked the stealership for a new carpet but they told me i can just replace that part only.

    Though unsure how you remove that thing.

    I did this on my car.

    In your 2nd picture, the one that shows the smooth bottom of the latch. Remove the outer ring. There's some little plastic catches you have to release. Don't worry about breaking it. The main part is ~$14 and the locking ring is $2.
