Trying to diagnose loud noise when turning left at speed

I have been noticing this noise about a month now. It happens when I turn left around corners, the faster I go, the worse the noise. I first thought it sounded like my exhaust was loose, but that was not the case as it was similar to the noise i would hear when the exhaust was banging the center support brace. The noise sounds like a banging/popping/grinding, and can be heard and felt inside the car. Does not happen when I turn right at speed, just left. I tried to mount an external camera last weekend, but the noise cannot be heard like that. I went into an empty parking lot and kept making hard left turns. I've had the brakes replaced a few weeks ago and new tires installed, but the noise started before these were done. I also had the stock springs put back on from the H&R OE Sport, but that didn't change anything.

Someone at Audi that my friend knows suggested it may be the Sport Diff going, but it is odd that it only makes the noise on left turns. I have to do Audicare in 2000 miles, but not sure I want to wait that long to take the car to Audi, but I would have to remove certain things before taking the car in, so i was trying to get it diagnosed by others. 2 shops so far could not figure it out or see anything loose under the car that would bang around when turning left.

Anyone ever have this or have any ideas???

Have you checked all the bushings and connectors in the front control arms? My curved lower front control arm on the left needs to be replaced as its starting to leak fluid. I sometimes hear a nice when turning left. Although these are pretty obvious items for a shop to check

Not sure if that was checked or not. It SOUNDS like the noise is in the mid/back region of the car, but I guess at times that can be deceiving. I need to bring it back in a couple weeks anyway to get my frontpipes replaced due to some leaks, so they can check it out then for sure.

Could an exhaust leak cause this? I am getting my frontpipes replaced next week, they are leaking at the flex joints. Borla sending new ones out. Could this cause a funky noise on left turns, but not right??

I had my exhaust hitting the rear subframe AND a heat shield in the trans tunnel. One was a clunking the other sounded like a buzzing noise. I've heard diffs that need fluid change create a similar noise, but I discovered it was my exhaust. (Also changed the diff fluid at the same time just for good measure)

We have looked at the exhaust several times to see if it was loose and hitting anything, and it was tight as could be and not banging. it WAS banging the center brace a few months ago but that has been corrected. Really frustrating having a harsh noise when turning hard and not knowing what the hell is going on. I will have the diff looked at when I take it into Audi for Audicare service, but I need to get the tune removed for that.

Did you ever find the cause of this sound? I have something similar going on from time to time.

Well, I got my front pipes reinstalled after the leak, and the noise went away, but came back some. I had the brackets turned downward on the exhaust a month or so ago, and the noise seems to be gone. I have not really pushed the car too hard lately, but before I could hear it when making pretty much any left turn, and that seems to be gone.... now if I could figure out why the front pipes are vibrating again from 1500-1800 RPM I will be happy... have another new set here too, but not installing until Spring.

Did your noise ever come back?

mine seems to be coming from the exact same spot and sounds the same as the video you posted, I've looked all over the exhaust and can't seem to find anything loose. I've adjusted the brackets at the back and can't seem to get it to go away. Same situation, when I turn left it's there, but mine isn't all the time. I'd say about 50% of the time. No matter what speed/RPM when it does happen though. Do you know which brackets you had turned down?
