    Hi All

Not sure if is being discussed before. If discussed before, please direct me to the link in AZ.

It is more like preventive measure for our DSG as we did the upgrade to our stock HE.

Funny you mentioned this cause I was thinking the same thing. Did this on my SS and tranny temps dropped a good 30 degrees, plus it gave me more piece of mind.

Great to hear that drop 30 degree...Just to check are u using the universal type with fan?
I think the universal cooler is a small price to start with.
But with our narrow compartment, it will be some challenge to fix this up discreetly behind the foglight...

Does it fit Jonathan? Looks a lot bigger than stock. But interesting.

Thought about this as well. Especially with the TCU tunes adding clamping pressure. When I was looking at the 135 and 335 I noticed they had a tune for those from BMW but you had to buy a upgrade kit and one of the items was a transmission cooler upgrade.

Makes sense to me. Be nice if you could just upgrade the stock unit.

Key difference on the DCT in the 135/335is versus the DSG in teh S4 is the BMW unit does not come with any kind of a cooler to begin with. Their true automatics do but the DCT does not. First step for them is simply a deeper and finned sump for like $900.
