    P0299 (soft code) Eurodyne stage 2

    Today I switched from Revo Stage 2 to Eurodyne Stage 2 with the eurodyne maestro tuning suite. I drive the car around for a bit to let the ECU adapt to the new software no CEL or anything but I check for codes anyway. I keep getting the soft code for P0299 turbo under boost but the CEL never lights up. I check for codes frequently when I hook my computer up to the car and never had this issue on the Revo software. Nothing else changed today but the software, i'm running a Treadstone TR8L intercooler and a GFB DV+

    Any possibility the wrong file (K04 or F23) was loaded.

    I'm 100% sure I selected stage 2 but I'll reflash tomorrow just to be sure.

    I'm going to bump this rather then make a new thread, I still get the P0299 under full throttle conditions usually in 5th or 6th at high speed. I did some logging today in 4th gear and will upload the data to you guys. I checked the wastegate arm on the turbo and it is solid doesn't move at all. mods are in the sig

    possibly my Go Fast Bits DV+ and Eurodyne dont get along well. or maybe the N75 is on its way out, The turbo has 60K from the original motor. Two months ago the motor was replaced the donor car was a b8.5.

    It looks like your N75 valve can be experiencing some troubles. Do you have the capability to test it?
    I'm having a very similar issue on my car... I am in the process of doing a boost leak test. I would start there to see where you can be loosing pressure.

    Looks to me like your having wastegate issues. your never reaching targeted boost...either that your you have a huge leak some where.

    I'm going to pressure test the system and see if that reviles anything. I don't have any unusual whistle or any other funny sounds other then the normal intake whistle the K&N is known for. The factory turbo will be replaced next week anyway i'm just trying to make sure the engine and intercooler are working properly before I upgrade the turbo.

    Let me know how you like the new tune. Ive been running revo stg 2 for about 2-3 years and they havent updated nothing at all for it and its annoying af. My buddies apr stg1 fwd a4 feels faster than my mine. Wtf

    Someone else running Eurodyne Stage 2 as well, awesome! Still working on figuring out the logging and tweaking with the Maestro software ....

    So far pretty much all I have accomplished is to turn off all of the CEL related to the missing runner flaps with the new IE intake ...

    I love the eurodyne software and the ability to do all the flashing myself. No more paying labor for such a simple process. I too felt my Revo car was a little slower then the rest and am happy with the Eurodyne Stage 2 flash. I should have the turbo delivered and I hope to get the install done this Friday

    Bumping this. I'm curious to see if the new turbo solved your issues and was also curious what your new peak G/S is.

    IHI JH5 technically speaking... But he has stock turbo or k03 whatever you would like to call it, with stage 2 eurodyne software.

    As my luck would have it the US Postal Service temporarily "misplaced" my package from ECS with the turbo. They assure me it will be on its way here shortly. Once it gets here i will install the same day and report back.

    Did the peak G/S change at all?? Its hard to compare your boost requested vs actual as they are of two different formats on the chart.

    So the new turbo your waiting on is Frankenturbo F23 then???

    I know there two different formats im working to correct that. I'm using the eurodyne software to log and thats how it downloads. My Schwaben VAG scanner shows them in identical formats but it only displays live data.. As for MAF it was showing 205 g/s during yesterdays run and yes I bought the FrankenTurbo F23L it showed up here tonight and ill install tomorrow.

    I was planning to go with a bigger turbo anyway and have spent the last 6 months reading about the F23 vs the K04. I have read every post in the B8 and B7 section regarding the F23 both good and bad and decided it was the way I wanted to go. Ive even reached out to a few MKVI GTI guys who are running the turbo for there input.

    No the OE F23L with 8psi preload is working great. I dont plan to push boost levels where I feel I would need the upgraded unit from Forge

    That's how mine started out then it got bad boost was all over the place u don't need it only if ur going high boost levels they make different springs for what u want to run but this is just my input been running the f23 for a couple years now
