so i have been noticing a slip in my clutch when driving for the past several months now. Monday night i lost my slave cylinder. had to start with car in 1st. and drive it without a clutch. i got the car to my house, but had to go to work. so i got the car to my work. did fine and actually acted a little better i had a little bit of a slave cylinder to where i did not have to start in first. but still wasnt right. well lunch came around and i had to drive my car to get something to eat. on my way back to work. i came upon an intersection light turned red. when i went to take off i had nothing. no grinding going into gears, no bad noises that i could hear (car is open down pipe) [>_<]. had to push the car off the road. called my boss to come and tow me back to work. i do like to visit mexico on the weekends for some digs. My clutch was slipping more and more but can you really put a price on fun?

I launch at 3500- 4000RPM so i knew this day would come at some point.

just looking for opinions and is there any chance that there is a inspection cover i can remove to take a look inside the bell housing?

Clutch is toasted. Bellhousing is completely covered in fiber material from the clutch disc inside and out.

that sucks man. good luck. if you go aftermarket with a single mass flywheel, make sure you put a spacer behind your slave and also replace the ring in the side of the transmission.
