    Hi AZ,

We wanted to prepare a DIY guide video for M'Autolite LED's from long time ago but we just never had a chance to.
Finally, one is done and check it out if you still need some help on installation guide as well as seeing comparison result.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at 1-888-579-5917 or [email protected].

    Thanks,
    Mike

The end result has the fog light beam pattern being higher, is this the result of the bulb or the install? Also when you say to open the copper weave, does that mean to separate the heat sinks? Thanks.

I think that it's because of parking the car too close to the garage door.
It can be slightly higher but that that much higher.
Yes, copper weave heat sink needs to be separated instead of being closed to touch each other.

Why does the copper weave need to be separated? Also is it fully water proof?

It's Fanless LED light but still generates heat. Heat gets dissipates through the copper weave heat sink and for better heat dissipation, it needs to be opened up.
Yes, it is resistant to water contact. I personally used them on fogs for close to 2 years without any issues.
