    Bay Area Powdercoating Experiences?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Evening all - Any members had a positive experience with a powdercoater in the SF bay area? I had a massively disastrous experience powdercoating my peelers on my 2011. Apparently I didn't learn my lesson as I'm shopping to have my 21's done in a matte gun metal - looking for a fair price and a shop that takes pride in their work (crazy how that's hard to find). Probably a long shot to ask, but figured I would try.

Check out Leon's in Oakland. They do great work and reasonably priced. I've had vents for the home and rims for the cars done a few times there. Most recently they powder coated the rims for my Honda CVCC. They charged $18 per rim. 14" rims of course.

Precision Powdercoating in Belmont, Reliable in San Leandro, Champion in San Francisco (probably the most expensive), E-Tech in Walnut Creek. I don't know of any off-hand in the south bay, I'm afraid.

Rite-Way Wheels in WC is the best with repair and refinish. I don't know what their powder coating quality is like, but if its like their repair they are the best.

    Last I looked it was 175 a wheel-ish.

I love my dark grey peelers. Stock though

I'm thinking about getting my wheels powdercoated too. Which shop did you end up going to in the Bay Area?
    Thanks!
