    Neuspeed Race Fitment w/ VMR

Im currently looking at VMR wheels in the 18x8.5" size and am wondering what modifications i will have to complete so i get no rubbing on neuspeed race springs. If anyone has similar setups please chime in if you have any issues. Thank you. The wheels are most likely et35, and my guts tell me i should be fine as long as i stick with a lower profile tire.....>=235.

You shouldn't experience any rubbing at all. I believe that is their recommended fit.

You may have to remove the fender liner screw and clip at the 12:00 position for the fronts. Mine rubbed there.
Same wheel specs as yours and I have the eibach pro kit.

Run 245/40 on similar setup. Removed 12:00 screws and everything's fine. Also depends how low your setup is. I like functionality over styling myself. No cool points on my ride!

Nope coils from pics I googled yours don't look much different then most sports suspension.

I'd go w your gut on the tire size. Theres lots and lots of options out there. It seems like a trial will be in order for your ride. Sorry I cannot help more.

Installed the springs and as the car sits right now it is about 24.75 FTG. Current debate is whether I should go with 18x8.5 et35 all around, or 18x9.5 et40 all around. Then it is the question of the stretched look on wheels, which i don't really like the exposed rim at all. I'll probably go with 18x8.5 all the way around and be done with it. I also prefer functionality over styling and would rather not rub at the cost of better styling.

I've had 18x8.5 et35 and 18x9.5 et33 on my car and neither rubbed. I ran the same 225/40 tire on both sets of wheels.

And you're ~ 24 FTG? Which wheels did you prefer, the 8.5 or 9.5 widths?

Yeah right around 24" ftg. From a looks standpoint definitely the 9.5, for performance and cornering the 8.5.
