Has anyone that has purchased a B8 mesh front grille had any problems getting the Audi ring emblem to set into the holder? Mine has the separate holder that connects through the mesh holes with screws and bars to hold it into place. Using the stock emblem, the top tabs of the emblem seem to snap into place correctly with the holder, but the bottoms seem to have a significant gap that won't allow them to "click" and stay in place. I thought it might be because the factory emblem tabs seemed to be a little angled inward, so I bought the same size emblem that had straight tabs. Same issue came about. The vendor doesn't seem to interested in helping out and I was just wondering if anyone has had this experience, and if so, they were able to get around it. I tried some silicone on the inside bottom tab area, but the flexing of putting it on the grille pulled the bottom part of the emblem away from the holder. Was just looking to upgrade the appearance of my car, but this has been a pain. I attached a few pictures the bottom tab gap. Hopefully they will show up.
