I have (had) a pristine 2013 S4 and one of my stupid patients hit the front left side of my car in the parking lot back in January. Took the car to Caliber Collision on Ponce (USAA told me to) and to make a long story short they have done nothing but shoddy work. They have had the car for six months of this calendar year, parts have fallen off of the car while driving (splash shield) and things that were perfect before are ruined (someone fingernailed the shit out of my start button, someone backed into something and gashed paint off of the bumper and diffuser, never had a ding on the car now there is one that looks like someone hit it going DOWNWARD, had to realign bodywork/bumper/headlights, windshield washer didn't work AT ALL or read empty, just to name a few things) and I'm sick of their shit. There has been a total of 4 managers since first bringing my car there so with each one they tried to make up for it and reassure me the work would be done quicker and better and now I've just given up. I called USAA after getting my car back yesterday with NEW damage to the rear end (looks like someone backed into a pole) and a new gash/ding by the fuel inlet and pissed that they put the old splash shield back on the car STILL with missing screws and cracked/ripped off pieces. They have had six months and multiple tries and I'm just fed up. They told me to take it to a NEW body shop and get an estimate (ding, paint on rear bumper, splash shield and inspecting the car to see what else is wrong) and they will cover it. The patient's insurance is Nationwide but USAA took over the whole thing because I called the right away. I just want my car to be at least close to what it was before the patient hit it.
I've never experienced anything like this before. Any ideas on a body shop or place that will do a GREAT job?
