Question for S7 and RS7 owners

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Does anyone know, is it possible to program the spoiler to stay out all the time? I would like to control it 100% manually, is it possible with vag com?

    Thanks!

    Not possible.

You can control it manually using the button on the dash, but it usually resets itself back to the down position.

If you're not rolling at least 85 mph, what's the point? It kills me when owners shoot pics of their a7,s7' rs7 with that damn spoiler deployed. It dosen't look cool! Imo

Does anyone other than S7/RS7 owners even know or care about this? Personally, I think the car looks better when deployed. Mine's always up because my car never travels at under 85mph.

    Yes...I care.

I personally would like the spoiler to deploy sooner (like around 65mph) instead of around 85 mph.

With LA traffic, I rarely hit above 85mph for more than a few minutes.

I tried to investigate VCDS coding...there is a module pertaining to spoiler, but I don't see an option to adjust the timing when it deploys.

    Ouch!
I think it looks better with it deployed. It detracts the focus from the hunch back hatchback to the spoiler.

Mine stays up all the time! Car looks way better when its up to me. So If you want to achieve this then just push the button right when you get into your car. Once you go above 82.5 mph the light on the button will go away and once you drop below 50 mph the spoiler will go down again, a simple push of the button will fix that!

I disagree, looks much more sporty with it deployed

Op I think I read on the forum somewhere you can pop it up and use the vcds to disable the spoiler and it will stay where you have it. Haven't tried it myself but I would be curious if it works?

I'd like to be able to adjust the speed at which it deploys and when it goes back down. Gotta work that VCDS and figure it out. And while I'm at it, I would also like to be able to open the exhaust valves even when not in dynamic.

This has to be programmable. I wonder if you could modify the button in the car to engage it on starting the car like the mirrors.

Same here, I would like it out all the time when I'm on highway. I'm sure it can be programmed somehow...
