C6 A6 performance upgrades

Hi there, I might be buying an 06 A6 with the 3.2 fsi pretty soon here and I was wondering what I could do to the engine besides a CAI and exhaust to get it around 300 hp.

Ya I've had my 3.2 for 4 years, there is nothing out there for performance upgrades unless you want to do a relatively extensive custom supercharger application. There's a tune from Unitronic but there's no one I know whose done it and if it works only nets you like 20hp even with a CAI you'll get no where course to 300hp if there's any gains from the CAI at all. Only thing the 3.2 is good for is reliability and the only thing you can really mod is looks & suspension.

There are no engine mods for the 3.2. And if you find a CAI please let me know

from what i've heard you can use the USP intake for the 3.0t just can't fit the heat shield though you may be able to modify that, the Roc Euro 3.0t is s4 CAI is supposed to fit(ish) too

If u want more HP maybe save up just a bit more money and get a 3.0t and then you will have your 300+ hp easily

That is really the only solution for more power and is probably the smarter move unless you want something unique, have a 2nd daily and the $$ to dump into custom work.

thanks for the info, I suppose I'll just keep it stock. Only going to be driving it for like half a year then leaving it to my brother when I join the Marines. Someone can close this if they wish.

Or, go buy a good used 4.2 C6. Good prices.
