    Concave wheels

Evening folks - first post and it's on something most will surely hate, choosing rims! New 2016 S6 and I'm looking for a rim that has some concave that will more or less bolt right on, though a spacer is ok. I like the looks of the Vossen VSF1, VF Forged etc. but am having a heck of a time finding a size and offset that offers some concavity but wont be too aggressive. Regarding aggressiveness, spoke to someone at Rohana and they suggested a 10.5" RF1 with an 8mm spacer but then cautioned the setup would stick out past the fenders. Not an ideal setup for me. Car is bone stock.

    Open to some ideas/suggestions.

    Many thanks in advance.

Welcome to AZ kind sir! I have the BBS CI-R on my 2016 A6 in 20×8.5. Not concave but you can go wider for concavity and they would fit perfectly without the need for spacers. Another member @Moosehead has those on his S7 and they are concave. Check them out!

Those TSW are very popular here, I have them because they offered them in 21" and cost was a extra bonus.

Sadly, for the most part an S6 just does not allow for a concave wheel that also fits right. The fender geometry and caliper size are just not right for it

You can go the high end big dollar route, like a set of custom HRE's and get some, concave but nothing like you can on a s7 that will tuck some 10.5 wheels no problem

Some will do a a 9.5-10 on a S6 and have the wheel stick out past the fender, but with all do respect, it is just not a good look.

Here's a pic of my car with ADV1's with a substantial rear concave look. $10k retail. Ouch! 21x10 or 10.5 all around. I agree with Mike that our cars are tough to get away with a deep concave look. Go with the Vossen VFS1's, they're a great looking wheel for a great price. $3k for 21x9 et 32. They sit nice and flush without a spacer and still have a slight concave look to them.

Yep, when I see what wheels and tires the M5 can get away with it makes me jealous, just too damn sexy.... But then I remember their interiors and douche owners and feel better :)

I love the look of your adv1's on your 6! Looks great probably one of my favorite looks on that car with your color combo. I also loved the adv1s on madyspop white s6... I thought he should of kept those. Looked great!

Many thanks for the welcome and for the input gents. This is exactly the look I want but when I visit the TSW site and enter my car's details - 2016 C7 S6, - the Bathurst wheel is not one of the options. Can any C7 S6 owner's running them chime in?

Did you change your wheels from the vossen to the ADV1 ? I like the both set ups, the ADV1's looks more clean in myour opinion.

We have the exact same car so if I go with the Vossen's I now know how they'll look. Thanks.

I'm going to be selling these shortly, if they'd be of any interest.

4-month-old Avant Garde M310s, 20" x 8.5". They have nice concavity and spoke curvature, which is why I liked them in the first place.

They're in perfect shape - I've just decided to go with a different look...

Yeah, I actually went from the ADV-1's to HRE and now have the Vossen's. I have a slight problem with sticking to one set of wheels, my wife is ready to kill me. I am done for quite some time though. Next step for me is going to be Stage II with APR. Good luck to OP with the hunt for the perfect wheel!!

Thank you. I loved them too, I was very sad to see them go but am extremely happy with my new Vossen's. I like the color combo better of the darker wheels with Daytona Grey.

Hey thanks. Yes the car was VAG lowered 20 mm all around and no to the rubbing as the MMI can adjust the ride height on the fly. You learn when and where to have your car in "slam" mode. With 21" wheels you don't need to lower too far to get rid of fender gap.

    Cheers,

    David
