Alright i figured i'd start a thread about the issues ive faced with so far on the new 2017 Q7 and hoping others will add to this thread. We've had this car about 4 months now and 10K miles in:

    1. lower rear door panel popped loose and would not fit back in, had to completely replace.
    2. defective wind deflector caused creaking noises when panoramic sunroof was closed
Updated at 18K miles: went back 3 times for this issue. Replaced sunroof rails and wind deflector
    3. power steering rack replaced due to shuddering noises when turning
    4. dash trim around the pop up screen was loose at delivery
    5. Door and Window Status errors via Audi MMI connect App (says door unlocked / windows down when its the total opposite)
    6. Updated at 18K miles: Suspension issues (When one of the rear wheels hit an uneven surface, ex. manhole cover or pothole, the backend would sway back and forth)

First impression of the car wasnt good due to #1 and #4

early buyers of a new model or refresh are many times the guinea pigs for fit and finish issues that will arise after real world driving.

List of Issues with the 4M Q7's (2017)

I'm a little over 10k ourselves and going to the first service tomorrow. Only issue we had is an issue with the cameras sporadically not working while in reverse or using the button. The audible sensors still works when it happen. SA will see if a software update is available for that issue.

Other than that, its been an awesome 10k+ mile ride!

*Update* So I just got her out of the first service and the master tech did find an faults code logged for the issue with the cameras. Here is the crazy part... the part to be ordered and replaced is the passenger sun visor!! Apparently the electrics to the sun visor is on the same wiring harness as all the cameras and is shorting them all out at times. Go figure!
