    Why is the intercooler partially blocked?

    Any one have an answer to why the intercooler is partially blocked on the drivers side?

    I am hoping a tuner might jump in and answer.....

    I assume it's the same reason it was done on the Focus RS and other turbo and supercharged cars; the intercooler can be too efficient and produce a build up of water vapour under very humid conditions

    That's what I had read as well. So if you up the boost, take the cover off ;)
