Hydro engine Mount

Hi all

Had my 2005 Audi A4 2.0tdi in to get scanned by Audi and it came up with the engine hydro mount. the sensor has broken off the mount.
The guy at the garage suggested that you could bridge the two wires that connect to the mount and that would stop the code from coming back.

Has anyone tried this before?

Would this cause the eml to come on?

Buy a resistor bypass from 034 and plug it into the plug that goes to the motor mount sensor (that is now broken).

Does anyone know of a supplier in the UK for this item?

Would bridging it not do the same thing?

Grab a meter put it to ohms measure resistance. Then contact a electronics supplier in your area that wud have a 12V resistor selection. Then bridge it. U cud bridge it w cable but ull need enough copper to create the same amount of resistance.
