    Remote tuning

Before you guys jump down my throat and tell me I am in the wrong platform, know that I have searched in the B7 section without much luck.

I am in a Audi performance desert oasis. I am looking for custom tuning in the Virginia (Richmond) area. Ideally I would like to do this remotely with data logs, but am willing to travel several hours. I am not in a position to mess around with Maestro or something similar at this point as I don't have the time.

In the B5 world where there are a number of options for this. I haven't had much success for the B7.

    Any input appreciated. Thanks.

I contacted solo, he said he wouldn't do it remote. I can reach out to Blake I guess. Don't know Mirza.

Got it. Thanks. Worked with Daz in the past, but not through VAG AutoWerks.

Unfortunately Atlanta is an 8 1/2 hour drive for me. Would cost me over a grand to ship it back and forth.

S4tech2 would you mind sending me a PM with Blake's contact info. Thanks.

Might be worthwhile to look into Motoza too. All they do is remote tuning, albeit mostly in the 1.8T world. They do have a tuning platform for the 2.7T though:

I can't say enough about how awesome Blake was with tuning my car for E85. He was very thorough, just when I thought we were on our last revision, he would ask for more logs and send another. Obviously remote tuning isn't the most ideal way to tune your car, but I think that Blake does as good of a job with it as you can expect being 2,700 miles away.

There are a lot of good options. Talk to different tuners and see who you feel comfortable with. I have decided to go with Jared at VLM Spec and will doing remote tuning with logs. Worked with him on friend's single turbo and we did it remotely and was very pleased with his service and knowledge.

I back this 100% I'm tuning an SRM Car with blake now. He is very responsive and helpful, not to mention the car rips so far. Tune would be finalized had it not been for somethings on my end that got in the way.

I would not hesitate to use him.

You might have a difficult time finding someone to do remote tuning on a B7. There just aren't tools available to the masses that will allow the end user to flash their ecu.

Unless a clone MPPS works on a B7, flashing tools cost a lot of $$$.
