    Diamond Stitching - SQ5 - Ouch!

Hey guys. I'm hoping a few of you that has a SQ5 with the diamond stitching on the seats sees this post. I recently was involved in a major accident where my previous SQ5 was totaled. Finally after a month and a half of living in car rental limbo, I was able to take delivery of what is a pretty decked out SQ5 with all the options you'd want, including the diamond stitching on the seats. Now that I've had the car for a few days I've noticed that the stitching on the seats are extra hard and seem to dig into you when you've been driving for more than a few minutes to the point where an hour long drive has proven to be quite painful. Has anyone else experienced the same thing? Do the strings eventually soften up?

    Thanks!

I have the diamond stitching, have been driving my SQ5 about 6 months now. I was still Winter when I took delivery so first couple of months I had a coat on so if they were stiff when new, I didn't notice. However, driving all spring / summer in light clothing, Ts and shorts, never had any discomfort so its possible they softened over the first few months...
