So I have an a4 b5 with a franken turbo and was looking to modify a bit more things such as tune with supporting mods and blah blah blah. Well leaving to work one morning I started the car and had a bit of thumping from the bottom end. Mind you, the head is new. 8k miles on it 2k on the turbo. I have recently took the front end off to check into things and noticed a tear in the small hose going into the ccv puck on the turbo inlet pipe. Also, probably my fault, the turbo inlet pipe had a kink in at at the maf. How the hose small POS hose had a tear in it, well we all know those aftermarket tips are somewhat large and leave barely any space for fitment of anything at the turbo. Anywho, I'm at a loss for why there is smoke and knocking being as I have cut the oil filter in half and removed oil to inspect for shavings of bottom end. Any advice would be awesome.
