New member. I have a 2004 s4. Was messing with the battery acid covered motherboard. Decided to try and wire speaker straight to plug, in harness car harness. Now won't start. Can't find any fuses bad. Any ideas?!

I unplugged it. Took out. Opened it up. Noticed the corosion and grabbed the speaker and straight wired it to the plug coming from the body. Went to start and it will crank and crank but no start. Acting like no fuel or a fuse popped somewhere.

Even though I tried getting some sound out of the speaker by wiring it, I still got no sound. So I left it off and left the empty plug back in the bottom of the trunk. Put it all back together and went to leave for lunch and no start. Been working on it the last 3 days and can't figure it out. Just ordered a vagcom

Update on my car. I ended up being impatient and taking it to the dealership. So they found fuse 43 (engine management ) was blown. I swear I checked that fuse atleast five times. I guess I will be buying a test light! Thanks all!
