    Hi everyone.

I read a lot and I also was a B6 member since long time. My friend when to sell me his a4 b7 2007.

I want to put 19x8.5 wheel and I want to know what is the best tire set up (235-45-19 225-45-19 or 235-35-19)... the offset of the wheel is 40. Someone have this setup?

What is the feeling on the road?

I want to put coilover on it at the beginning if I buy it.

    Thanks

    Tommy

225/45/19 is probably the most B7 specs on 19's

I have 235/45/19 on peelers with coilovers and ride is smooth

Is your car lowered? If so, that ET of 40 will be a potential problem, I run a 35 ET and had to use 5mm shims up front with a 245/35/19 Michelin wrapped around VMR 718 wheels on a H&R Sport spring. If you want to run a 40ET plan on using a 10mm shim and 235/35/19. But for help of fitment, go to http://www.willtheyfit.com/ for backspacing. To get your proper stock wheel size, go to http://www.wheel-size.com/size/audi/a4/2007/

I have 19x8.5 with 43 offset... I run 15mm spacers front and 17.5mm spacers rear so effective offsets are 28/25.5. 225/35/19 with ST Suspension coilovers and I find it as comfortable as my stock 18" wheels.

Why I need spacer for et40? Can I run 225-45-19 with a 40et without it?

So 10mm or 15mm spacer front and rear?

cisco, do you use spacer on 225??

also, I see another kit of 215-40-18 with 8'' et45 at the front and 9'' et40 at the rear.

I know that isn't 225 or but can this offset/wheel can fit good on the B7?

It was a big difference between 35 or 45 thickness?
